Journey of Objects (“Journey of Objects”, “We”, “Our”) is the digital arm of Object, anarrative journalism magazine focused on fashion, culture, and society. We offer retail experience showcasing Indian designers and artisans from deep inside India&'s craft belt.

Journey of Object is managing and operating the website  www.journeyofobjects.com (our "Site" or Sites") through which it inter alia, offers facility for online sale and purchase of a diverse range of Products including Fashion, Clothing, Accessories, Home décor, Home Apparels and other Products listed on the Platforms from time to time (“Product”) to the users of the Platforms  (“User” or “Users” or “you” or “your”).

APPLICABILITY OF POLICY

(a)By agreeing to use the Platforms and/or initiating a request for purchase of Product(s) on any of the Platform, you agree to be bound by the terms contained in this Policy without modification.

(b)Journey of Objects reserves the right to alter and enforce this Policy at any time without having to serve a prior notice to the User.

TERMS FOR CANCELLATION, EXCHANGE, RETURN AND REFUND OF ORDERS

Period for Return/ Exchange:

The Return and Exchange must be in compliance with the Return Policy associated with the Product. In general, Product should be returned within 15 days of delivery.

Cancellation of Order:

You can cancel an order within 24 hours of placing an order by sharing an email to our customer support team at customercare@job with reason of cancelling the order or via website order Tracking page. In such cases, the order will be cancelled, and the money will be refunded to you within 24-48 business hours after the cancellation request is duly processed by us.

Conditions for Return of Product:

You can return the Product(s), purchased from us provided the Product(s) satisfy below mandatory conditions:

i. The Product has not been worn, washed, altered, cleaned or tampered.

ii. There is no foul odour, perfume, stains, dents, scratches, tears or any form of damage or defect on the Product.

iii. Product returned should be in unused, undamaged, unwashed and in a saleable condition.

iv. The price tag, brand tags, original packaging material including brand boxes (“Essentials”) accompanying Product is intact and not altered, damaged or discarded by you.

v. Product returned without the original security tag, or a damaged security tag, may result in a delayed refund or may not qualify for a refund.

vi. Return is being initiated against the order under which it was bought and from same account and the serial number/ bar code of the Product matches our records.

vii. The Product(s) if bought as a set should be exchanged as the complete set.

viii. Subject to the terms of this Policy, We also accepts partial returns wherein User can raise a return request for one or all Product except in case of Product which is bought in set.

ix. The gifts accompanying the purchased Product should also be returned and should not show signs of being used, washed, or defect.

We reserve the right to reject a refund request for a Product if it does not satisfy the quality conditions specified under this Policy on our assessment pursuant to its return. We may in such cases notify you and we shall not be liable for returning the Product and shall not take any liability of the same.

Return Shipping Process:

In case of damaged claims, such as those exhibiting Shipping damage, Manufacturing defect, Incorrect item received, Stains or Marks, Torn or Ribbed fabric. User is required to submit pictures of the damaged Product within 24 hours of delivery before authorization for return can be granted. Subsequent to the collection, approval, and inspection of the Product, the initiation of the refund process shall commence.

Refunds

(a)Refund in case of cancellation we process the refund within 24-48 business hour safter receiving the cancellation request.

(b)In case of a return/refund, we process the refund once the Product have been received and verified at our warehouse.

(c)For payments done through credit/debit cards or net banking , the refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made within 7-10 days of us receiving the Product once the Product have been received and verified at our warehouse. back. It may take 1-2 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

(d)For cash on delivery transactions, we will initiate a bank transfer against the refund amount against the billing details shared by you. This process will be completed within7-10 days business days hours of us receiving the Product back and your bank details on email. It will take an additional 1-2 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

(e)Discount Coupon once applied will not be refundable.

(f)If a Product is returned without the Essentials, it will not be accepted for return and will be returned to you. If the logistics partner validates the same at your door, he may refuse to pick up the Product because these are required details to be shipped along with the Product.

(g)We shall make all reasonable attempts to keep the User apprised of the status of refund through updates shared on the User’s account on the Platforms, registered mobile number and registered email address.

(h)We disclaim all liabilities that may arise on account of failure to keep the Userapprised of the status of the refund due to any technical reason beyond our control.

(j)The refund period shall be subject to automatic extension in the event of a system or information technology failure that is beyond our control. The user shall not hold us liable for such occurrences.

Exchange of Product:

You may initiate the request for exchange of the Product within 15 days of delivery if the Product delivered is of different fit and/or size than the fit and/or size of Product that was ordered. The Product will be exchanged with same Product of different size.

Process for raising Return/Exchange request

The process for initiating the process for raising a return / refund / exchange request is as follows:

(a) Log in to your account, raise a return request via Website order tracking page with your order number.

(b) Let us know which items you wish to return by registering your return.

(c) The return request must be raised with us within 15 days from the date you receive your parcel.

(d) Package the items you wish to return in a suitable bag or box, eg. the one you received your parcel in.

(e) Our logistic partner will collect the parcel from the delivery address.

(f) Once we have received your return shipment, we will send you an email confirming receipt of the parcel.

viii. Subject to the terms of this Policy, we also accept partial returns wherein User can raise a return request for one or all Product except in case of Product which is bought in set against the same order number.

ix. The gifts accompanying the purchased Product should also be returned and should not show signs of being used, washed, or defect.

b. The return request must be raised with us within 3 days from the date you receive your parcel.

c. Package the items you wish to return in bag or box, the one you received your Product in.

d. Our logistic partner will collect the parcel from the delivery address.

e. Once we have received your return shipment, we will send you an email confirming receipt of the Product.
